Muzaffarabad: The Special Communications Organization (SCO) has initiated trial 5G services in seven strategic locations across Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), marking a significant technological advancement in the region. This development is set to enhance connectivity and drive growth in multiple sectors.
According to Radio Pakistan, the rollout is part of a broader plan to extend 5G services to twenty additional sites by the end of the year, which will bring the total to twenty-seven active locations. The introduction of high-speed 5G technology is anticipated to create new opportunities and foster growth in sectors such as tourism, education, healthcare, business, and public service delivery.
