Samina Alvi lauds Girl Guides Association for inculcating good values in young women

Islamabad, August 09, 2021 (PPI-OT):First Lady Samina Alvi has said Pakistan Girl Guides Association (PGGA) could play a significant role in nation-building by rendering positive contribution towards reformation of society. She was addressing at concluding ceremony of a National Summer Camp for Senior Guides and Young Leaders at Ghora Gali in Murree on Monday.

Samina Alvi emphasized that it is the need of the hour to work for the betterment of the community as the government cannot achieve targets of resolving social issues in isolation. The First Lady pledged to lead the movement entrusted by the Father of Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, with an objective to serve the country.

She said Girl Guides Association should to join the national mainstream for play an effective role on platform. She lauded the Girl Guides Association for inculcating good values in young women and educating them about the humanist approach as well.

Later, the First Lady inspected the camp and appreciated the gadgets made by the Guides. She also appreciated their preparedness for emergencies. Sixty-five Senior Guides and Young Leader from AJK, Baluchistan, Punjab and Islamabad Capital Territory participated in the ten day camp.
