Samajwadi Party Leader Accuses BJP of Promoting Hatred and Division

Moradabad, Dr. ST Hasan, a leader of the Samajwadi Party and member of the Indian Parliament, has criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for engaging in politics that foster hatred and division between Hindus and Muslims. In a statement made during an interview with a TV channel in Moradabad, Dr. Hasan highlighted various instances where he believes the BJP has sought to exacerbate communal tensions.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Dr. Hasan pointed out that the BJP has historically manipulated issues such as the hijab for Muslim girls, and the use of bulldozers on mosques and Madrassas, as a means to sow discord between the two communities. He questioned the rationale behind creating such animosity and distance among people who have coexisted peacefully in the country for over a thousand years.

The allegations by the Samajwadi Party leader underscore the ongoing political discourse in India concerning communal relations and the conduct of political parties. This debate comes amid concerns about the impact of divisive politics on the social fabric of one of the world’s most diverse nations.
