Repatriation of Illegal Foreign Nationals, Including Afghans, Continues Smoothly

Islamabad, The ongoing repatriation of illegal foreign nationals, predominantly Afghans, is progressing steadily as thousands return to their homeland daily through Chaman and Torkham borders.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting reports that these individuals are grateful to Pakistan for its hospitality and support during their stay.

In an organized and humane approach, transit camps with all necessary amenities have been established in various districts to temporarily accommodate these individuals before their return. Just yesterday, 2,292 more illegal Afghan nationals, transported in 231 vehicles, were repatriated. To date, a total of 240,175 Afghans have been successfully returned to Afghanistan, marking a significant step in addressing the issue of illegal residency while maintaining dignity and respect for the individuals involved.
