Islamabad: The Prince of Qatar, Sheikh Naif bin Eid Al Thani, met with Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, to explore potential joint ventures for the expansion and development of highways in Pakistan. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties and investment opportunities between the two nations.

According to Press Information Department, during the meeting, Abdul Aleem Khan highlighted the historical and cultural connections between Pakistan and Qatar, noting the significant number of Pakistanis living and working in Qatar. He welcomed potential investments from Qatar, particularly in the sectors related to the construction and expansion of motorways and highways. Khan stressed that such collaboration could benefit both nations and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to providing a favorable environment for foreign investment.

Prince Sheikh Naif expressed Qatar’s interest in investing across various sectors in Pakistan, aiming to enhance trade and business ties. Both parties agreed to investigate new opportunities for cooperation and investment, signaling a mutual desire to further solidify their partnership. The meeting concluded with the exchange of good wishes and gifts, underscoring the cordial relations between the two countries.
