Lahore: An important meeting was convened to address the upgradation of databases and portals within the Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department Punjab, chaired by Director General Dr. Shehenshah Faisal Azim. The session focused on enhancing the department’s digital infrastructure to improve service delivery and data management.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting assessed the current status of IT initiatives, aiming to make existing databases and online portals more effective and user-friendly. Key discussions centered on improving digital records, streamlining data management systems, and facilitating access to information about the department’s services and welfare programs.
Participants included officers and focal persons from the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department. The Director General urged officers to accelerate progress on IT initiatives, emphasizing the role of digital technology and Artificial Intelligence in improving service delivery and ensuring timely access to services for those in need.
