Jeddah: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for discussions with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The visit, which comes at the invitation of the Saudi Crown Prince, aims to bolster the longstanding partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

According to Radio Pakistan, upon his arrival, Prime Minister Sharif and the accompanying Pakistani delegation were received at the airport by Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq, and other senior diplomatic officials. The talks between the two leaders are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral ties and exchanging views on regional issues.

In addition to the diplomatic engagements, Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to perform Umrah and pay respects at Roza-e-Rasool (Peace Be Upon Him) in Madinah Munawwarah. The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Federal Ministers Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
