Bishkek: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif participated in a series of informal meetings with prominent world leaders during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of State meeting in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Discussions centered on regional and global issues of mutual interest, as well as bilateral matters.
According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif engaged in warm exchanges with several key figures, including Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The meetings were characterized by a focus on fostering cooperation and addressing issues pertinent to the region.
