Prime Minister Sharif Engages in Strategic Talks at World Economic Forum in Riyadh


Riyadh, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif participated in a Special Dialogue and Gala Dinner hosted by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, aligning with the ongoing Special Meeting of the World Economic Forum. The meeting facilitated pivotal discussions on enhancing Saudi investments in Pakistan and addressed regional concerns, including the crisis in Gaza.



According to Press Information Department, the event saw the Prime Minister commend the Saudi leadership for their successful hosting of the World Economic Forum’s Special Meeting. Recollecting a prior meeting in Makkah during Ramadan, Prime Minister Sharif acknowledged the Crown Prince for dispatching a high-powered Saudi delegation to Pakistan. This delegation, led by Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, engaged in extensive discussions aimed at boosting Saudi investments in Pakistan. To further these discussions, the Prime Minister brought a significant delegation of Pakistani investment ministers to Riyadh, ensuring that follow-up meetings between the officials could occur.



In addition to economic ties, the dialogue also covered bilateral relations and regional issues, particularly the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Prime Minister Sharif reiterated his invitation to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to visit Pakistan, highlighting the continued diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
