APHC Condemns Night Raids in Indian-Controlled Kashmir

Srinagar, The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed grave concern over ongoing night raids by Indian forces targeting activists and leaders in Indian-controlled Jammu and Kashmir, disrupting the lives of local populations.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas detailed these actions in a recent statement, condemning the property seizures, arrests of young individuals, and overall repressive tactics employed by Indian authorities and agencies such as the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and State Investigation Agency. He criticized these measures as attempts to suppress the Kashmiri pursuit of self-determination through intimidation.

In light of these developments, the APHC has called for the United Nations to intervene and monitor the escalating human rights situation in the region. The organization also urged the Indian government to respect the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination and to seek a peaceful resolution to the Kashmir dispute.
