Prime Minister Reaffirms Pakistan’s Condemnation of Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabia


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s condemnation of the recent Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure, underscoring concerns over regional peace and the global economy.



According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif expressed his views during a telephonic conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He emphasized complete solidarity with the Saudi leadership and people, warning that the Houthi actions threaten regional stability and could disrupt global energy supplies.



Sharif, joined by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, committed to ongoing efforts to reduce tensions and promote peace in the region. He also praised the Saudi Crown Prince’s leadership during the crisis and conveyed warm regards to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Saudi Crown Prince acknowledged Pakistan’s support and expressed a commitment to maintaining close contact, anticipating an early meeting between the leaders.
