Islamabad, July 30, 2021 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Imran Khan, expressing satisfaction over the efforts being made to reform tax system, has directed the concerned authorities to ensure maximum facilitation for the business community. He issued these directives while chairing a meeting to review the progress made towards streamlining the business processes especially in priority sectors including small and medium enterprises and the establishment of Special Technology Zones in the country. During the meeting, the Prime Minister appreciated the progress made so far by federal and provincial governments towards improving ease of doing business.

He also commended the efforts of Special Technology Zones Authority in attracting big tech companies like Huawei and Samsung along with top boot camps to start operations in Pakistan. The Prime Minister emphasized that equal attention should be paid towards setting up Special Technology Zones in Baluchistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir besides other major cities in the country.
