President Zardari Offers Condolences at Chinese Embassy Following Karachi Attack


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari visited the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China today to extend his condolences after the recent terrorist attack in Karachi that resulted in the loss of Chinese lives.



According to Press Information Department, during his visit, President Zardari expressed profound condolences on behalf of both the government and the people of Pakistan. He strongly condemned the attack and assured that efforts are underway to bring those responsible to justice. In discussions with Chinese Ambassador Mr. Jiang Zaidong, the President emphasized Pakistan’s solidarity with China during this difficult time and highlighted the strong socio-economic ties between the two nations. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the safety and security of Chinese nationals residing within its borders.
