Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi conducted a detailed inspection of key locations in Islamabad today to ensure readiness for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit. The minister reviewed preparations along major routes including D-Chowk, Constitution Avenue, Murree Road, and Islamabad Expressway, focusing on decoration, cleanliness, and security measures.

According to Press Information Department, during his visit, Minister Naqvi directed officials to accelerate the decorative and construction efforts, and emphasized the importance of maintaining thorough cleanliness across the city, especially along VIP routes and in the Red Zone. He also instructed the removal of any road encroachments to enhance the city’s aesthetic appeal in time for the summit. Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa and other key officials briefed the minister on the ongoing progress and assured their commitment to meet the summit standards.
