BISP Headquarters Hosts Senior Management Course Officers for Operational Briefing


Islamabad: Today, the headquarters of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) hosted a delegation of 17 officers from the 36th Senior Management Course at the National Institute of Management, Islamabad. The visit aimed to provide the officers with a comprehensive overview of BISP’s various initiatives and their impact on vulnerable communities in Pakistan.



According to Press Information Department, Mr. Amer Ali Ahmad, Secretary of BISP, briefed the officers on key programs such as Kafaalat, Taleemi Wazaif, Nashonuma, the Undergraduate Scholarship, and the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER). He detailed the operational changes and enhancements in the program’s payment disbursement model, which has expanded from two banks to six, improving efficiency and transparency and expected to save Rs. 2 billion annually. The session concluded with an interactive Q and A, where the officers praised BISP’s efforts and the depth of the briefing.
