President Zardari Congratulates Tajikistan on 35th Independence Anniversary, Pledges Stronger Bilateral Ties


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended his congratulations to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the citizens of Tajikistan on the occasion of the country’s 35th Independence Anniversary. The message underscores Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing its relationship with Tajikistan, focusing on mutual interests and cooperation.



According to Press Information Department, President Zardari conveyed in his letter that Pakistan places significant importance on its longstanding and cordial relations with Tajikistan. These ties are built on a foundation of shared faith, cultural connections, common heritage, and mutual trust. The President highlighted that Pakistan is keen on further expanding bilateral cooperation, particularly in areas such as trade, energy, connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges.



President Zardari also expressed his confidence in the future of the partnership between the two countries under the leadership of President Emomali Rahmon. He believes that this relationship will continue to contribute positively to regional peace, stability, connectivity, and prosperity.
