Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have jointly honored the legacy of Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed on the 66th anniversary of his martyrdom, underscoring his heroic sacrifices for Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders released separate statements commemorating Major Tufail’s bravery and ultimate sacrifice during a conflict where he displayed exceptional courage and commitment to his country. President Zardari emphasized that the nation holds deep pride and reverence for its martyrs and will perpetually remember their sacrifices.

Prime Minister Sharif elaborated on Major Tufail’s dedication, noting his exceptional sense of duty and bravery which continues to inspire younger generations. He highlighted how Major Tufail thwarted adversarial threats and fulfilled his mission despite severe injuries, setting a profound example of patriotism and valor.
