ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed their commendation for the security forces’ successful operations against the India-backed group Fitna al-Khawarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They paid tribute to the personnel who lost their lives during these operations, highlighting their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari emphasized the enduring impact of the martyrs’ sacrifices, which he said bolster the nation’s determination. He acknowledged the security forces’ contributions to defending the homeland and promoting peace. Prime Minister Sharif echoed these sentiments, referring to the fallen personnel as national heroes and asserting that their sacrifices serve as a guiding light for the country. He reaffirmed the commitment to ongoing operations aimed at eradicating terrorism with unwavering resolve.
