ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing its engagement with Türkiye, focusing on key priority areas. This commitment was expressed during a meeting with Türkiye’s Ambassador, Irfan Neziroglu, in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the importance of coordination between relevant departments from both countries to prepare for the upcoming Joint Commission and the 8th Session of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. These efforts aim to further the bilateral agenda between Pakistan and Türkiye.

The meeting also included discussions on the evolving regional situation, with the Deputy Prime Minister emphasizing dialogue and diplomacy as essential for resolving issues and achieving peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. The Turkish Ambassador provided updates on progress under various bilateral institutional mechanisms designed to advance cooperation across multiple areas, following recent high-level interactions between the two nations.
