ISLAMABAD: The Minister for Economic Affairs, Ahad Cheema, emphasized the importance of policy continuity for achieving sustainable economic growth during a meeting held on Friday in Islamabad. The meeting, aimed at reviewing the roadmap of the Ministry of Industries and Production, focused on facilitating small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to enhance their access to export markets and increase their contribution to the national economy.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ahad Cheema highlighted the government’s commitment to a home-grown economic agenda aligned with Pakistan’s national priorities. He underscored the need for both the government and industry to adopt a disciplined approach to economic planning, which would ensure policy continuity, efficient resource allocation, and sustainable long-term growth.
