Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has pledged continued support and cooperation to the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, focusing on the welfare and development of its residents. This commitment was conveyed during a meeting with Syed Iftikhar Ali Gilani, the newly elected Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, who visited Sharif in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, Sharif congratulated Gilani on his new role and offered his best wishes for his tenure. The discussions between the two leaders covered a range of topics related to peace, development, and ongoing welfare initiatives in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The Prime Minister emphasized the Federal Government’s commitment to advancing the prosperity of the region’s people.
