ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered the implementation of measures to ease the process for citizens to register and obtain fuel subsidies under the PM Special Relief Scheme. The initiative is aimed at providing support for those with motorcycles, rickshaws, and vehicles up to 800 cc.

According to Radio Pakistan, during a review meeting held in Islamabad, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of informing the public about the registration process and associated procedures for the subsidy. He instructed that the SMS service required for registration should be provided free of charge to ensure accessibility for all potential beneficiaries.

The fuel subsidy program was initiated for residents of Islamabad last night, with plans to extend the petrol relief to citizens nationwide, including those in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, starting from the night between tomorrow and the following day.
