ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has initiated a forthcoming anti-polio campaign by administering polio drops to children in Islamabad. The campaign aims to curb the spread of the poliovirus across the country.
According to Radio Pakistan, the sub-national polio vaccination drive will take place from Monday to Sunday in 115 districts nationwide. This effort targets more than 31 million children under the age of five, with health workers set to administer the polio vaccine in a coordinated effort to eradicate the disease.
