Islamabad: Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry met with Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani at the latter’s residence in Islamabad to discuss parliamentary affairs, the legislative process, and coordination between the Senate and the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.

According to Press Information Department, both officials agreed to strengthen cooperation to enhance the role of parliamentary institutions and reinforce the democratic process. Chairman Senate Gilani highlighted the importance of coordination between Parliament and the government for the legislative process and public progress. Minister Chaudhry assured full cooperation and support from the Ministry, with both leaders committed to improving coordination between the Senate and the Ministry to ensure smooth legislative and parliamentary operations.
