ISLAMABAD: Economic conditions in Pakistan are showing signs of improvement, according to Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, the Minister for Board of Investment. During a recent event in Islamabad, the minister highlighted that the country’s foreign exchange reserves have reached eighteen billion dollars, a level sufficient to cover three months of imports.
According to Radio Pakistan, Minister Sheikh’s remarks come as a sign of positive economic developments amid ongoing efforts to stabilize the country’s financial situation. The increase in foreign exchange reserves indicates a bolstered capacity to manage import expenses, which is crucial for sustaining economic growth.
