Islamabad, August 30, 2022 (PPI-OT):At the United Nations, Pakistan has called for a comprehensive political solution among all Afghan parties to end the 20 years conflict.
Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Munir Akram, while speaking at a briefing in Security Council, said it is vital to continue humanitarian and economic assistance to Afghanistan to avoid another civil war and arrest the rise of terrorist groups.
Munir Akram said Afghanistan’s neighbours and international community are obliged to deal with the realities in Afghanistan not with subjective perceptions and desires.
