NEW YORK: Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye have reviewed the progress on establishing institutional structures as part of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement. This initiative was discussed during a meeting involving Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar shared on a social media platform that the leaders also exchanged views on regional and international security issues. The discussions indicate ongoing cooperation among the three nations as they work toward strengthening defense ties under the framework of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement.
