Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry led a meeting at the Central Police Office, focusing on enhancing public service delivery and citizen facilitation in the capital. Senior police officials, including DIG Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq, attended the session.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting assessed the law and order situation in Islamabad and discussed steps to improve police services. The IGP urged officers to prioritize citizen convenience and eliminate delays in service delivery. He highlighted the importance of protecting lives and property and ensuring effective and respectful services.

Captain (Retd.) Chaudhry underscored the need for prompt resolution of complaints and encouraged officers to adopt efficient mechanisms. He invited police personnel to approach his office directly for citizen protection matters and emphasized service as a guiding principle. The IGP also made his office accessible to serving and retired officers for addressing concerns.

The IGP instructed branch in-charges to handle departmental matters promptly, attend to the needs of officers and personnel, and uphold transparency and accountability. He reinforced the commitment to public service, urging professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with citizens. Facilitating citizens and providing efficient services remain key priorities for the Islamabad Police.
