New York: Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to enhancing women’s leadership and their active participation in peace and security initiatives. This commitment was articulated by Usman Jadoon, the Deputy Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, during his address at the United Nations High-Level Forum on the Programme of Action on a Culture of Peace.

According to Radio Pakistan, Jadoon emphasized the critical role that sustained investment in women’s leadership plays in achieving enduring peace. His remarks underscored the importance of integrating women more fully into peace processes and security frameworks as a fundamental strategy for fostering a stable and peaceful global environment.
