Pakistan Initiates Eurobond Offering with Five and Ten-Year Tenors

Karachi: Pakistan has initiated the process of a dual-tranche Eurobond offering, denominated in US dollars, with tenors of five and ten years. This strategic move is aimed at facilitating the country’s re-entry into the international capital markets.

According to Radio Pakistan, Khurram Schehzad, Adviser to the Finance Minister, announced the transaction on the social media platform X. He noted that this development follows a series of upgrades in Pakistan’s sovereign credit ratings, which have bolstered macroeconomic fundamentals and enhanced investor confidence. The launch of these Eurobonds is seen as a significant milestone in Pakistan’s efforts to secure financial stability and attract foreign investment.
