Pakistan Condemns Houthi Militia Attacks on Civilian Targets in Saudi Arabia


Islamabad: Pakistan has condemned the attacks carried out by the Houthi militia on civilian and economic targets in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran in Saudi Arabia. The Pakistani Foreign Office described the attacks as a violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a threat to regional peace and stability.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Foreign Office issued a statement asserting Pakistan’s support for Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, security, and prosperity. The statement emphasized the solidarity of Pakistan with the leadership, government, and people of Saudi Arabia. It also conveyed wishes for the recovery of those injured in the attacks.



The statement reiterated Pakistan’s support for Saudi Arabia’s right, consistent with the UN Charter and international law, to defend its territory and protect its citizens and assets. The Foreign Office affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in the region.
