ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Turkiye have agreed to enhance their cooperation in the health sector by forming a joint team of health experts. This initiative aims to identify areas where both countries can benefit from each other’s experiences and expertise, as announced by Federal Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustafa Kamal.
According to Radio Pakistan, the announcement was made during a meeting between Kamal and the Turkish Ambassador in Islamabad. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral ties in the health sector, particularly through public-private partnerships and investment opportunities.
The two countries also agreed to expand their cooperation in the production, trade, and technology transfer of medical devices and other healthcare products, indicating a strategic move to bolster their health sectors.
