RAWALPINDI: Pakistan and Kuwait have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their defense relationship, aiming to transform their historical ties into a robust and mutually beneficial partnership. This development emerged from a high-level meeting between the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and a Kuwaiti delegation led by Minister of Defence Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Saleem Al-Sabah at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Kuwaiti delegation, which included the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kuwait, Lieutenant General Khalid Darj Saad Al-Shriaan, engaged in discussions with Pakistani officials on matters of mutual interest, regional security, and bilateral defense cooperation. Both parties expressed their commitment to enhancing institutional ties and expanding defense collaboration.

The Kuwaiti delegation acknowledged the professionalism and operational excellence of the Pakistan Armed Forces, as well as their contributions to regional peace and stability. The meeting underscored the shared resolve of both countries to bolster defense cooperation in ways that contribute to peace and security in the region.
