HONG KONG: Pakistan’s Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal, met with Hong Kong’s Chief Executive, John Lee Ka-Chiu, to discuss ways to enhance trade and economic cooperation between Pakistan and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China. The discussions highlighted mutual interests in strengthening economic ties and fostering people-to-people connections.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting took place in Hong Kong, where both officials expressed a shared commitment to deepen their partnership. Chief Executive Lee commended Minister Kamal’s address at the Belt and Road Summit, where Kamal emphasized international cooperation and economic connectivity. Minister Kamal underscored Pakistan’s steadfast dedication to its relationship with China and stressed the significance of broadening trade and economic relations with Hong Kong.
Both leaders agreed to explore new areas of mutual economic interest, aiming to build on their existing relationship and create opportunities for further collaboration.
