Deputy Prime Minister Reviews Preparations for Upcoming ECO Council Meeting


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has reviewed the preparations for the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Council of Ministers meeting, which is set to be hosted by Pakistan in November. The meeting in Islamabad focused on various logistical and agenda-related aspects necessary for the successful execution of the event.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister was briefed on the proposed programme, agenda, participation, and other logistical arrangements. During the review session, Ishaq Dar provided guidance on the key aspects of the upcoming meeting and emphasized the significance of comprehensive preparations.



The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the ECO’s role in enhancing regional trade, connectivity, and economic cooperation. He stressed the need for thorough preparations to ensure that the meeting in Pakistan is productive and successful.
