Baku, Pakistan and Azerbaijan have reached an agreement to strengthen their cooperation in a variety of sectors, with a particular focus on agriculture. This development followed a meeting between the Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan, Bilal Hayee, and Azerbaijan’s Minister for Agriculture, Majnun Mammadov, highlighting a shared interest in expanding trade and collaboration.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Azerbaijani Minister, through a post on the social media platform X, detailed the discussions’ emphasis on increasing the trade turnover of agricultural products. The meeting also touched upon enhancing cooperation in specific areas such as animal husbandry, rice farming, and cotton cultivation, reflecting a comprehensive approach to agricultural development between the two nations.
This agreement signifies a deepening of bilateral relations and showcases a mutual commitment to exploring new avenues of cooperation that could benefit both countries economically and socially.
