Islamabad, The repatriation of illegal foreign nationals, including Afghans, to their home country is progressing in a dignified and safe manner. The initiative is part of the efforts to ensure the dignified return of Afghan nationals to Afghanistan.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, transit camps equipped with essential facilities have been established in various districts to provide temporary accommodation for these individuals. On Sunday alone, 1,640 illegal Afghan nationals returned to their homeland, with a total of 254,775 Afghans repatriated so far. This process underscores the commitment to handle the situation of illegal foreign nationals with respect and safety, ensuring a smooth and humane repatriation process.
