Gujranwala: Punjab Police’s annual inter-district sports competitions, organized by the Pakistan Police Sports Board, are currently taking place across the province. Among the highlights, the Gujranwala Region hosted tug of war and kabaddi contests, where local teams achieved significant victories.

According to Punjab Police, the Gujranwala team excelled by securing first place in both the tug of war and kabaddi competitions, while the Gujrat team claimed second place. In the women’s tug of war, Gujrat emerged victorious, with Gujranwala taking second place. The event featured enthusiasm and sportsmanship, with CPO Gujranwala Sardar Ghias Gul attending as the chief guest and commending the athletes’ performances.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem extended congratulations to the successful teams and players, noting the positive impact of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit within the police force.
