Nation Mourns as Funeral Prayers for Captain Muhammad Osama Bin Arshad Held in Rawalpindi


Islamabad: Funeral prayers for Captain Muhammad Osama Bin Arshad Shaheed, who was killed in action in North Waziristan, were conducted at Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials including the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Defense Minister, the Information Minister, the Chief of Army Staff, along with a host of serving and retired military personnel, soldiers, and grieving family members.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister honored the late Captain’s sacrifice as a reaffirmation of Pakistan’s resolve to eradicate terrorism for a peaceful and prosperous future. He emphasized the nation’s determination to defeat terrorists and their enablers with a comprehensive strategy. Captain Osama will be laid to rest in his hometown with full military honors, marking the nation’s tribute to his bravery and service.
