Modi Seeks 400 Seats to Block Muslim Cricketers and End Reservations

New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has intensified his rhetoric against Muslims, calling for a political mandate of 400 seats to exclude Muslims from the Indian cricket team and to eliminate quotas for backward classes, tribals, and Dalits.

According to Kashmir Media Service, while addressing a rally in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, Modi accused the Congress of planning to prioritize minorities in sports and other areas. He criticized the historical partition of India and accused Congress of undermining the country’s integrity through policies favoring minorities. Modi claimed that such moves threaten India’s identity and vowed to prevent any erosion of national identity under the guise of secularism.

Modi’s campaign statements have continued to stir controversy, focusing heavily on communal themes rather than the performance of his government. He also linked the need for a decisive parliamentary majority to prevent Congress from influencing significant cultural and legislative landmarks, including the Ayodhya temple site and the revoked Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
