New Delhi: The policies of India’s Bharatiya Janata Party government have sparked genuine freedom and separation movements across various regions of the country.
According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, political analysts are voicing concerns over the Modi regime’s approach in addressing conflicts, including the freedom movement in Jammu and Kashmir, the Naxalite uprisings, and the crisis in Manipur.
In Nagaland, tensions have escalated with Naga separatists threatening armed resistance due to the government’s failure to uphold the 2015 Framework Agreement.
The Modi government is also managing the Naxalite movement in states like Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Odisha through state suppression. This has exacerbated the situation, leaving marginalized communities considering separation from the rest of India as a potential solution.
