APHC Mourns Loss of Religious Leader Ghulam Mohammad Bakhshi


Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has announced its profound sorrow over the death of prominent religious leader Ghulam Mohammad Bakhshi in Srinagar, located in the Indian-administered region of Jammu and Kashmir. The conference expressed condolences to the family and acknowledged Bakhshi’s contributions to their cause.



According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Ghulam Mohammad Bakhshi was the father of Hurriyat leader Shakeel Ahmad Bakhshi, Showkat Bakhshi, and Shariq Bakhshi, who was martyred. The news of his passing has been met with tributes from various leaders who admired his work and dedication.



APHC spokesman Abdul Rashid Minhas, along with other leaders such as Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Dr. Musaib, Javeed Ahmed Mir, Maulana Musiab Nadvi, and Imtiaz Reshi, paid their respects to the late leader. They recognized his efforts and support for the Kashmir cause.



A delegation of Hurriyat leaders visited Bakhshi’s family to offer their condolences in person, underscoring the deep respect and admiration he garnered within the community. The visit served as a gesture of solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult time.
