Minister Ahsan Iqbal Stresses Peace and Stability for Economic Growth in Islamabad Meeting


Islamabad: During a review meeting focused on the implementation of the 5Es Framework, Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal underscored the critical role of peace, political stability, and policy continuity in achieving Pakistan’s economic objectives. The Framework, which outlines strategic plans ranging from short-term to long-term, aims to elevate Pakistan into the ranks of the world’s leading economies.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Iqbal elaborated on the 5Es Framework’s comprehensive approach to national development. He pointed out the necessity of enhancing the participation of women in the workforce to at least fifty percent and highlighted the importance of empowering the youth, who constitute sixty percent of the nation’s population, to secure their future through robust educational and employment opportunities.



The Minister reiterated that maintaining peace and ensuring ongoing political stability are foundational for fostering an environment conducive to sustainable economic development.
