Mayor Karachi Reviews Medical Facilities at Spencer Eye Hospital

Karachi: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab visited Spencer Eye Hospital to assess the medical facilities provided, as reported by Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. During his visit, he evaluated various wards and departments, accompanied by KMC Adviser for Finance Gulzar Abro, doctors, paramedical staff, and other officials.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Barrister Wahab met with patients to inquire about their treatment experiences and confirmed that their services were free of charge. Patients expressed satisfaction with the hospital’s offerings. The Mayor emphasized that Spencer Eye Hospital is a crucial institution providing modern eye care facilities and reiterated the commitment to upgrading KMC hospitals to enhance medical services for citizens.

The Mayor highlighted ongoing efforts to deliver quality healthcare at citizens’ doorsteps and promised to enhance Spencer Eye Hospital’s capacity for broader access to improved eye care. He assured the utilization of resources to improve healthcare facilities under KMC’s management.

During his inspection, Barrister Wahab reviewed the hospital’s cleanliness, patient facilities, and medicine provisions. He instructed officials to ensure patients encounter no difficulties and stressed the importance of providing a supportive environment in government hospitals. He warned against negligence in delivering timely and quality medical care.
