According to Kashmir Media Service, the seminar, chaired by APHC-AJK Convener Mahmood Ahmad Saghar, welcomed Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, London, Majid Khan as the chief guest.

During the seminar, Convener Mahmood Ahmad Saghar and other esteemed speakers emphasized the foundational role of the January 5, 1949, resolution passed by the United Nations Commission for India and Pakistan (UNCIP) in the ongoing struggle of the Kashmiri people for freedom.
