ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has intensified its crackdown on vehicles with tinted windows, deploying special teams across key roads and intersections in the federal capital. This move, directed by Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, is part of a broader effort to enforce traffic laws indiscriminately and ensure public safety.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the initiative is a component of a zero-tolerance policy designed to safeguard citizens and reduce traffic accidents. Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan highlighted the risks associated with traffic law violations, stressing the importance of public cooperation with police efforts to establish a safe and orderly traffic system.
Kainat Azhar Khan urged residents to adhere to traffic regulations, emphasizing that compliance not only ensures personal safety but also protects other road users. The ITP is committed to using all available resources to enforce traffic laws fairly, aiming to create a safer travel environment and maintain smooth traffic flow throughout Islamabad.
