ISLAMABAD: In a bid to enhance security at Churches across the federal capital, Islamabad Police, under the directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has put in place comprehensive measures. These efforts were actively overseen by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza during his field operations on Sunday.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Operations Raza visited several Churches and related duty points to evaluate the operational readiness of the security personnel. He engaged with officers and personnel, providing instructions aimed at fortifying security arrangements.
SSP Raza’s inspections included a thorough review of the security plans, focusing on deployment strategies at entry and exit points, parking areas, and the perimeter of Church premises. During his discussions with Church administrations, Raza affirmed the police’s commitment to the safety of all citizens.
He called on the public to assist police efforts by reporting any suspicious activities or individuals to the nearest police station or through the police helpline “Pucar-15.” Emphasizing the importance of police-public cooperation, Raza highlighted the ongoing dedication of Islamabad Police to maintain a secure environment within the city.
He reiterated that the primary objective of the Islamabad Police is to safeguard citizen lives and property while ensuring the rule of law.
