ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 190 individuals identified as court absconders, habitual offenders, and proclaimed offenders during the first 10 days of September. This move is part of an intensified crackdown initiated on the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the arrested individuals were wanted in connection with various crimes and criminal cases. The police have committed to continuing their indiscriminate action against criminal elements, utilizing all available resources to ensure the arrest of these offenders. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, emphasized that effective search and combing operations are being conducted across different areas to apprehend these individuals. The police have expanded their surveillance of suspected and criminal elements.

SSP Raza stated that the protection of lives and property, as well as the prevention of crime, are top priorities for Islamabad Police. The force is utilizing all resources effectively to meet these objectives. The SSP further noted that the zero-tolerance policy against criminal elements will persist, with efforts to arrest offenders wanted in various criminal cases being further intensified.
