ISLAMABAD: After more than four decades of service, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Investigation city zone Muhammad Riaz was honored in a farewell ceremony organized at the Rescue-15 center in Islamabad. The event marked the retirement of DSP Riaz, who has been a part of the Islamabad Police for over 40 years.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the ceremony was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, who served as the Chief Guest, along with other police officers. SSP Raza commended DSP Riaz’s dedication to the police department and reflected on the inevitability of retirement as a part of service. He underscored the department’s responsibility to support retired officers and highlighted the importance of maintaining a legacy of honorable service.

SSP Raza encouraged officers to commit to public service and to strive for actions that enhance their reputations. He expressed that DSP Riaz’s career was characterized by substantial contributions to both the department and the community, earning him respect and a reputable standing.

The SSP assured DSP Riaz that his office would remain accessible for any personal or official matters post-retirement. The ceremony concluded with SSP Raza presenting DSP Riaz with a bouquet and an honorary police shield, acknowledging his commendable service and extending best wishes for his future endeavors.
