Islamabad Police Intensify Citywide Search Operations Targeting Criminal Activities

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have conducted extensive search and combing operations across various parts of the federal capital, checking over 222 individuals as part of a citywide effort to curb crime and detain criminal elements. The operations were carried out under the direction of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, with oversight from senior police officials.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations, supervised by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and monitored by zonal SPs, involved thorough checks of 136 households, five shops, five hotels, 71 motorcycles, and 25 vehicles. The initiative led to the detention of 21 suspicious individuals and the seizure of 32 motorcycles, which were taken to the police station for further investigation.

SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza emphasized that these operations are part of an ongoing effort to tighten security and suppress criminal activities throughout the city. The police force remains focused on taking indiscriminate action against criminals, land grabbers, and drug dealers in various districts of Islamabad.
